Banana - A Poem by Spike Milligan



What a fool is the banana
Lots grow in Ghana
The banana lives in
A thick yellow skin
They can't get out
Even if they shout
The only way to reveal you
Someone has to peel you
When you are revealed
Your fate is sealed
Some hungry soul
Will swallow you whole
